I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 14 years, during this time I witnessed people not healing, just dealing, with their ailments. I myself lived with chronic pain with no answers. Being prescribed pills to cover up my symptoms, but no answers. I had been incorporating yoga in my routine, off and on since I was sixteen and always felt stronger and more at peace when I was “on”.
I enrolled in a yoga teaching program to find answers for myself, but I felt the calling to help others through their personal journey and began teaching yoga, or asana which is the pose. Now I am a 200 hour RYT with Yoga Alliance and have recently completed an additional 300 hour yoga teacher training. My passion is teaching a gentle yoga movement to help those who deal with chronic pain to stay in motion. My true desire is to bring hope to all who are ready to choose a life of healing, not just dealing.
Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

Life in these stressful times, make us anxious and tense. Doing yoga asana (poses) gets your mind off the past or future and brings you to the present. Concentrating on these poses, breathing, and resting meditations distract the mind and strengthen the body.
My response to anyone that says, “I can’t do Yoga”, “I am not flexible”, is ;
“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down.”
-Jigar Gor
There’s much evidence supporting the numerous benefits of yoga.
Yoga can help, lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, decrease pain, ease symptoms of depression and improve sleep among many others. I offer group yoga classes, private sessions, restorative yoga, workshops, and guided meditations.
Meditation is indeed learning to work with the mind. The Cambridge dictionary defines meditation as “the act of giving your attention to only one thing, either as a religious activity or as a way of becoming calm and relaxed”. Meditation can involve focusing, relaxing, pondering. Meditation is awareness
